Sony XC-EU50 Ultraviolat (UV) CCD Camera |
Part of Sony's extensive lineup of machine vision cameras, the new
XC-EU50 1/2" Near UV Sensitive B/W Camera features near ultraviolet
sensitivity down to the ~300nm range with peak around 369nm. Utilizing
characteristics of shorter wavelength light, the XC-EU50 is effective in
capturing surface details of various kinds of materials. With the use
of ultraviolet illumination, small scratches, dust, or blemishes, which
are difficult to view by the human eye or traditional cameras, are
captured clearly by this camera. Like the XC-ST and XC-ES Series, the
XC-EU50 camera incorporates the latest ½ type Interline
Transfer (IT)
CCD with HAD technology providing 768 (H) x 494 (V) effective picture
elements. In addition, the XC-EU50 features the same compact and
lightweight design as the XC-ES series making them easy to interchange.
Highlights:
- High Sensitivity - 1/2" CCD with HAD technology
- 768 x 494 pixel resolution (EIA)
- UV Sensitivity down to ~300nm with peak around 369nm
- All controls outside the camera for easy operation
- Flexible trigger/shutter interface
- New EIAJ 12 pin assignment to accept trigger pulse and a WEN output
- Field/Frame integration
- Small, lightweight, one piece camera (29 x 29 x32mm)
- High shock and vibration tolerance
- C Mount

Benefits: |
All controls outside of camera: |
There is no need for the user to open the
camera to modify the operating mode of the camera or to determine or
confirm switches settings; a user will no longer need to "customize" the
internal camera switches. |
Compact and lightweight design: |
The XC-EU50 camera is the smallest and
lightest one-piece analog B/W camera offered by Sony; body's
measurements are 29 x 29 x 32 mm, and it weighs only 50 grams; the
compact, lightweight camera body allows the camera to be used in very
tight places and for some remote camera-head applications. |
